This is the April revision of the January list. (Revisions are monthly.) It includes about 300 more names than the March list, and many new game results. It is not a new grading list. Grades are still calculated on the basis of games up to 31st December 2011. But further corrections have been made, to results as well as players’ details, and about 40 grades have changed since the March revision. All players whose grade has changed since January are highlighted in blue. Their original January grade is still shown in their player profile.
To see a player’s profile, click his grading reference (“Ref”). The profile shows his history of grades back to 1994, and gives access to his detailed game results, for previous periods as well as the current one. Monthly revisions will always include updates to the game results, so you can check your new games as the season progresses. Game results currently include everything reported up to 24th April.
Players without a current grade
The database includes everyone, right up to this month’s new players. By default the lookups will not show everyone: you will see only players with a current grade. To see everyone, check the “include ungraded players” box. Note that deceased players are treated as ungraded for this purpose, even if they have a current grade.
